Keep It Coming, Snow!

Being a Florida girl, I looove my sunshine and warm weather, but I’ve certainly grown accustomed to cold weather.  I lived in Colorado for 8 years straight and am now living in Ohio!  However, I hate it when it’s cold, but not snowy.  What’s the point?!?!  It’s the winter equivalent to “the drizzle”.  You know, annoying rain?  I’m like, “JUST RAIN ALREADY!!!!”  Well, I have the same attitude with a snowless winter.  Lucky for me, we’ve gotten some good snow!

Yay snow!  It snowed nearly 4 inches and they even had to shutdown the highway!  Unfortunately, it started snowing during our morning commute and was forecasted to quit at noon, so we didn’t get a snow day or a delayed start or early release.  Darn it snow!  Can’t you get it right???

I trekked home through the precarious snow to visit Beaubie, shovel the drive, and treat myself to some sushi for lunch.

I had spicy salmon on brown rice and a seaweed salad.  I love seaweed salad.  It has a great flavor complex and I love how chewy it is!  I was going to take Beau for a walk, but ran out of time with the doubled commute time and shoveling the driveway (great workout by the way!!  I always happily volunteer!!)

And on a final parting note, Hubs and I just started receiving this magazine in the mail.  Addressed to HUBBY of all people!  Is someone playing a cruel joke on us?  Or is there something that we haven’t been told?  Am I pregnant?!?!

Parents out there:  Do you read parenting magazine?  I personally didn’t find anything particularly useful in there.  Am I missing something?
